Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This pivotal role servicing our Restoration Clients combines the precision of construction estimating with the leadership of project management, ensuring projects are accurately bid, efficiently executed, and delivered on time and within budget. You will play a vital role in coordinating with clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes. Responsibilities Prepare detailed construction estimates using industry-standard software such as Xactimate, HeavyBid and Bluebeam, ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to develop comprehensive bid proposals that reflect project scope and client requirements. Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships. Manage all aspects of project execution from initial bidding through completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, project timelines, and budget constraints. Monitor project progress regularly, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within commercial or heavy civil construction environments. Proficiency with Xactimate, Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup; experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly preferred. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing while fostering positive relationships. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, site safety protocols, and contract management. Demonstrated expertise in cost control, budgeting, and project scheduling. Hands-on construction site experience that provides practical insight into field operations. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with in house trades, trade partners, clients and insurance adjusters. $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
