Job Description Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Must have experience working with a General Contractor/Construction Management company.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Coordinate subcontractors/suppliers/labor/material activities on project construction sites Oversee/ensure construction project safety Verify time/material work Obtain/review checklist to ensure subcontractor readiness for mobilization. Allocate resources for assigned projects Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
BA in engineering, construction science or similar relevant field
OSHA 10/30
Certification, building maintenance/carpentry experience CPR/AD Certified, helpful but not required Previous Commercial Construction experience and/or previous supervisor experience. 5 years previous working experience as construction superintendent Previous experience in construction management or other related fields Familiarity with construction management software (ProCore, Timberline, Blue Beam, Microsoft Project) Strong leadership qualities Strong negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented Company Description KEO Illinois (KEO) is a general contracting, construction management and design-build company.
