Experience:
Director Salary:
$150,000 - $260,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Civil Construction Division Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong background in civil construction, specifically in areas such as Heavybid, Paving, Bridge, Restoration, Site Development, and Roadway. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our civil construction division, including project planning, budgeting, team management, and execution. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the civil construction division, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget. 2. Utilize expertise in Heavybid, Paving, Bridge, Restoration, Site Development, and Roadway to drive project success. 3. Develop and implement strategies for new projects, including resource allocation, project timelines, and budget management. 4. Collaborate with other division managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and exceeded. 5. Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. 6. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement solutions to mitigate any negative impact. 7. Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards. 8. Prepare and present project reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders. 9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction management, specifically with Heavybid, Paving, Bridge, Restoration, Site Development, and Roadway. 2. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale civil construction projects from conception to completion. 3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure. 6. Proficient in project management software and tools. 7. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 8. Professional Engineering (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is highly desirable. 9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards. 10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
