This role is vital in ensuring that framing activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of framing techniques, blueprints, and construction management software. As a key team member, you will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow, uphold quality standards, and ensure timely project completion. Responsibilities Supervise daily framing activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to schematics and blueprints. Coordinate with project management to develop detailed work schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling tools. Manage and oversee subcontractors and labor crews, providing clear direction and supervision to meet project deadlines. Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to design specifications, schematics, and safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide framing operations accurately. Utilize construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, progress tracking, and communication. Maintain accurate records of work progress, safety compliance, material usage, and budget adherence; assist with construction estimating and budgeting tasks. Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections using tools like an ohmmeter or other testing equipment as needed for quality assurance. Collaborate with project teams on procurement of materials such as pipeline components or heavy-duty framing supplies; monitor inventory levels. Support the implementation of quality control measures to meet project specifications and client expectations. Experience Proven supervising experience in framing or general construction projects with a strong background in construction site management. Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid or similar tools. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety compliance. Hands-on experience with construction estimating, budgeting processes, and contract management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Prior experience working on pipeline projects or heavy infrastructure is a plus. Knowledge of construction materials testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections is advantageous.
