Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to join our team and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of large-scale commercial construction projects. This role offers a career progression opportunity, with the successful candidate having a path to advance within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage on-site construction activities for commercial projects. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and company standards. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel, as our company does not self-perform any scopes of work. Monitor and enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe job site. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones. Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed. Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are met. Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during construction. Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain accurate daily logs and reports of project activities and progress. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Extensive knowledge of Contracts and ability to minimize potential obstacles. Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory role within the commercial construction industry. Proven track record of successfully managing on-site operations for large-scale commercial projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Bluebeam). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
