Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
BSI Paving is a well-established concrete and paving company seeking a skilled Account Manager to generate sales, estimate proposals, and manage customer relationships. As an Asphalt and Concrete Account Manager, your primary responsibility is to generate new business and drive sales by promoting the company's asphalt and concrete services to potential customers. You will play a vital role in expanding the customer base and achieving revenue targets.RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and prospect potential clients in need of asphalt and concrete services, such as property managers, contractors, municipalities, investors, and commercial businesses. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to foster long-term partnerships. Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Present and demonstrate the company's asphalt and concrete services to prospective clients, highlighting their benefits and value. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to meet customer requirements. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract agreements in collaboration with the sales team and management. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless project handoff and customer satisfaction. Track and report sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM software and company designed spreadsheets. Stay updated with industry developments, new products, and emerging technologies related to asphalt and concrete. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance business visibility and generate leads.DESIRED RESULTS & OUTCOMES
Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals- determined by you and your direct report (measured weekly, monthly, and quarterly) Expand the company's customer base through successful lead generation and conversion.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the asphalt and concrete industry or related construction field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build rapport. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and overcome objections. Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to lead generation and business development. Sound knowledge of asphalt and concrete products, services, and industry practices. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools to track and manage customer interactions. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.BENEFITS
