For this role, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Lead to work and coordinate high-quality projects on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that all aspects of interior finishing work are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a Lead, you will oversee a team of carpenters, working with tools as needed, manage project timelines, and ensure compliance with project specifications. Your expertise in construction management and finish work will drive the successful completion of projects that meet client expectations and company standards. Duties Must have experience and proficiency in finish carpentry, tiling, drywall, and painting. Lead (working) and supervise a team of carpenters, providing clear direction, mentorship, and quality oversight throughout each project phase. Coordinate daily work schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide accurate installation of finishes such as millwork, cabinetry, doors, tile, drywall, and trim Manage procurement of materials and tools necessary for carpentry tasks, ensuring timely delivery to avoid project delays Having working knowledge of building codes and safety regulations Utilize construction management software, Houzz Pro, for documentation, reporting, and communication with project teams Collaborate with project managers to develop realistic schedules, assist in project planning and progress tracking Oversee subcontractors and vendors; ensure contractual obligations are met with high standards of workmanship Maintain detailed records of daily activities, work progress, and material usage for accurate reporting Qualifications Proven experience as a finish carpenter with supervisory or foreman responsibilities on commercial or residential construction sites Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, project coordination and scheduling Be proficient with computers and apps, we use Houzz Pro software Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards for quality control Extensive hands-on experience with finish carpentry techniques including millwork installation, cabinetry assembly, door/window fitting, drywall finishing, and trim work Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for precise installation work Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to construction site safety; able to enforce safety protocols consistently Excellent management skills with a focus on team supervision, problem-solving, and effective communication across diverse teams Construction site experience with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship in finish carpentry projects Join us as a Remodeling Project Lead where your expertise will shape exceptional spaces!
