Job Description
Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to lead and manage large-scale construction projects. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from feasibility to completion, developing project strategies, plans, and budgets, and assembling qualified project teams. The role also involves scheduling, coordinating, and supervising craft employee activities, which may include supervising various trade groups (electricians, boilermakers, and carpenters) in different construction disciplines such as, civil, structural, electrical. Responsibilities Your key responsibilities
Project Planning and Strategy:
Plan and supervise construction activities, including determining methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules. Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedules.Team Leadership:
Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or contractors. Resolve construction problems and maintain communication with unions.Resource Management:
Monitor compliance with safety programs and document corrective measures. Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedules.Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns1.Performance Monitoring:
Track project progress through metrics and reporting, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements or challenges.Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and compliance regulations.Innovation and Improvement:
Continuously seek ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative technologies or methodologies. Skills Project management, Data center, Construction, Construction management, Preconstruction, Project scheduling, Construction project management, Construction supervision Top Skills Details Project management,Data center,Construction,Construction management Additional Skills & Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent, and eight (8) + years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, commercial or industrial projects. Must have experience working on Commercial or Industrial projects with budgets of at least $50M. Ideally, you'll also have Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control. Experience supervising, motivating and mentoring cross-functional teams. Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Saline, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
