Job Description

We are currently hiring on behalf of our valued client, Egan Company , to find a Labor Manager for their Service and Support group in Champlin, Minnesota. The Labor Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for the coordination and management of the limited energy field workforce, fulfilling project labor needs. You will act as the key link between the office and the field, overseeing daily labor activities, including hiring, performance management, and scheduling of individual field employees. A core responsibility is understanding and executing union labor collective bargaining agreements on behalf of the company, while developing and fostering strong relationships with project managers, union leaders, and the field workforce. Key Qualifications 15+ years of commercial glazing or facade construction experience or at least 5 years in a supervisory or multi-site management role. Proven knowledge of the construction industry and collective bargaining agreements. Deep understanding of unitized curtain wall, stick curtain wall, storefronts, and architectural metal panels. Experience managing travel crews and local hires across multiple states. Strong organizational skills and the ability to foresee events and anticipate changes in conditions. Ability to negotiate with union business agents and communicate clearly with both executive leadership and field laborers. Why Join the Egan Team?
