Supported Employment Manager

This position will provide supervision and support the growth of our Supported Employment department in the north Twin Cities metro. OS provides employment assistance to adults and students with disabilities as part of our mission to see every person have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to their communities and improve their quality of life. For over 50 years, OS has served consumers, business partners, and communities by mastering the art of matching consumers with employers. A collaborative approach:

As a member of the organization's management team, the regional manager will be constantly working alongside executives, directors, and managers from every department at OS to ensure the overall health and success of the organization.

Our new manager will be responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring a growing Employment Specialist team.

Compensation and Benefits Include:

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 per year depending on education and previous experience. Medical insurance - 100% of employee premiums are paid by the company. Essential and Principal Job Responsibilities:

Provides job specific instruction and supports including the use of adaptive technology and hands on coaching as necessary Provides pre-employment, on the job training, job coaching, retention services and follow along supports per each client's individual needs and desires Recognizes and advocates for client rights/need for reasonable accommodations, techniques, and different methods of instruction Assists in the development and implementation of task analysis and training plan based on client's needs as it relates to the job Serves as a mentor for client's long term career success and employment stability Serve as a liaison and community connection with business and industry personnel, stakeholders, teams and Opportunity Services. This includes developing and building relationships with employers and area businesses Educating co-workers, business owners, community members Partner with local schools as part of our Student Services and Project SEARCH initiatives. Provide analysis of fiscal performance throughout the year and make recommendations for improved performance. Verify accuracy of billing for each service area. Directly supervise and manage Supported Employment staff in assigned area Conduct interviews for possible new Employment Specialists Manage training for all employees in assigned area

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree 2-5 years of management experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation Ability to self-manage day to day tasks with minimal direct supervision Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends Clean driving record
