St. Cloud, MN (travel required as needed) Position Overview The Assistant Manager will support the Cleaning Department by ensuring all assigned buildings are properly serviced and maintained to ServiceMaster's high standards. This role involves supervising cleaning operations, communicating with clients, assisting with payroll, and supporting team members to ensure success. Schedule Monday-Friday (mostly evenings; occasional mornings) Weekends as needed (rare) Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance Serve as a point of contact for clients and address concerns promptly Assist with employee scheduling to ensure full coverage Oversee daily cleaning operations and performance Assist with payroll processing and verification of hours Train, coach, and support team members Participate in client and internal meetings Develop action plans to address performance or service issues Monitor inventory and request supplies or equipment as needed Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Support onboarding of new employees Promote teamwork and a positive work culture Prepare reports and updates as requested by management Qualifications & Skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong leadership and supervisory skills Excellent communication (verbal and written) Strong time management and organizational skills Problem-solving and decision-making abilities High-level cleaning knowledge and attention to detail Comfortable using technology (Microsoft Office, scheduling/payroll systems, mobile apps) Knowledge of workplace safety practices Dependable, adaptable, and customer-service focused Previous experience in cleaning services, facilities, or a supervisory role preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs frequently Frequent bending and lifting from floor to waist Occasional overhead lifting Repetitive motions (sweeping, mopping, dusting) Combination of office and field work in a fast-paced environment

$25.00 per hour
