Project Superintendent

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within the specified timeline while maintaining the highest standards of quality control. This role requires strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, and proficiency in various construction management software. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Coordinate and manage subcontractors and laborers to optimize productivity and quality of work. Review and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process. Utilize Procore and other construction management software for effective project scheduling and tracking progress. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to provide updates on project status. Prepare reports on project performance, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure that all materials are ordered and delivered on time to meet project schedules. Requirements Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. Assist the project team in the development, updating, modification (as required) and maintenance of the project schedule including a master schedule, look ahead schedules for their assigned trades, and look ahead schedules for their assigned trades. Strong knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulations in construction environments. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam, Procore and Microsoft Project for effective project scheduling. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of ground up and tenant improvement construction processes is mandatory.
