We are seeking a highly organized Construction Superintendent to manage the day-to-day construction of building projects in the field and support our continued growth. This role will directly impact company profitability and will work closely with ownership and project management to ensure projects are built to our standards and within our timeline. What You Will Do Directing and supervising trade partners Closely monitoring and adhering to the project schedule Preparing project reports and conducting daily walks Approving trade partner work orders Monitoring project cleanliness and quality Assist sales with customer upgrades and custom features Support project managers in controlling project costs What We're Looking For Ideal candidates will have: Experience in residential construction or metal buildings Strong understanding of construction materials and scopes of work Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork and cooperation Action-oriented and decisive High attention to detailAbove-average aptitude for the use of construction management software and mobile technology Bonus Experience Barndominium or post-frame construction Mark Systems construction software experience Residential construction experience Custom home building experience Compensation Salary based on experience Performance bonus Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding organization Paid time off & holidays 401(k) and health insurance stipend Work Environment (Awesome) Primarily field based with occasional office visits.

PREREQUISITES FOR SUCCESS

A natural sense of urgency and "must get it done" attitude. Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license in the state of MO. The ability to work with tools when required ("resolving punch list items"). People skills to articulately and professionally handle conflict with customers, inspectors and trade contractors. The recognition and expectation that construction is NOT a 9-to-5 job. Willingness to work hard and long hours, on weekends when required, in odd shifts when required, and in inclement weather, when required.
