Job Description

  • De Kalb, MS (Onsite Required)
  • This position is based onsite in De Kalb, MS and requires a regular on‑site presence.
  • Hargrove is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Lead / Construction Manager to support projects in De Kalb, MS.
This role focuses on coordinating electrical construction activities, with some involvement in I&C scope, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. This position plays a key role in supporting the Weatherization Project, as well as other OPCO capital, retrofit, and outage projects. The ideal candidate brings strong field coordination experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead contractor execution with minimal supervision.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Lead coordination of electrical construction activities, including minor I&C scope + Support execution of the Weatherization Project and additional assigned capital or outage projects + Ensure all work is performed in alignment with company standards, project scope, and specifications + Champion a

  • and ensure contractor compliance with safety requirements + Oversee safe performance and coordination of all contractors on site + Utilize design and record drawings to plan, track, and manage work packages + Collaborate with design leaders, engineers, and field teams to ensure efficient execution + Participate in planning, scheduling, cost, and performance discussions + Identify and communicate scope or design changes in a timely manner + Review and validate: + Vendor drawings + Fabrication drawings + Construction specifications and submittals + Coordinate contractor activities to minimize delays and resolve field issues proactively + Monitor contractor staffing levels and resource alignment + Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders + Provide on-site support during commissioning and startup activities •Qualifications•Education•+ High School Diploma or equivalent (required) + Degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) •Experience•+ Minimum •10 years•of industrial construction or project-related experience + •

  • 2 years of experience as an Electrical Lead Coordinator

  • 5 years of experience as an Electrical Coordinator
  • + Experience coordinating electrical construction in industrial environments is required + Exposure to or experience with
