Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on supervision of construction sites with strategic project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. Duties Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols. Develop detailed project schedules using BuilderTrend or similar project management tools to track progress and identify potential delays. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project scope and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and progress milestones. Facilitate effective project coordination among stakeholders through clear communication and detailed reporting. Manage project documentation, including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), daily logs, and incident reports. Ensure all work complies with industry standards, local codes, and environmental regulations. Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction, with a minimum of 1 year in management. Proven experience in construction site management. Familiarity with construction management software including BuilderTrend and Bluebeam for document control and collaboration. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction drawings. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills. Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards on-site. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training or PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred but not mandatory. $30.00 - $88,062.98 per hour
