We are looking for YOU! This position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina and requires frequent travel (2-3 days a week) to job sites in Virginia and South Carolina.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support the Project Manager Responsible for the solicitation of subcontractors & vendors during the bidding process and assist with preparing the bid analysis. Prepare subcontract agreements and purchase orders for distribution to subcontractors and vendors. Own the subcontractor submittal agreement process Coordinate the RFI process and related documents including RFI's, shop drawings, etc. Assist the Project Manager in the initiation, coordination, and supervision, of all communications with municipalities to ensure the necessary permits are in place and that all required approved contract documents are received, logged, and distributed. During their weekly site visits, the Assistant Project Manager completes a site report as required Responsible for completing routine permit requests Assist with the managing of all closeout and turn-over procedures Ensure that all documents necessary for warranty requests and maintenance are included in database
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in the construction industry with emphasis on experience in multi-family construction required or 4-Year degree in Construction Management or similar field required Knowledge of multi-family construction methods and materials Knowledge of industry methods for scheduling, bidding, estimating, contracting, cost reporting, safety, and quality Ability to understand the technical aspects of construction Knowledge of MS Software applications to include MS Office, Excel and Word.
