We're seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent who is ready to contribute to successful project delivery.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Superintendent supports the Superintendent in managing day-to-day field operations on multifamily construction projects. This role is critical in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, overseeing material management, and ensuring quality control inspections are performed throughout all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating daily jobsite operations, timelines, and project goals Support and enforce jobsite safety in accordance with OSHA standards Assist with quality control inspections to ensure all work meets plans, specifications, and company standards Help manage material procurement, delivery scheduling, tracking, and on-site organization Maintain and track project schedules using Microsoft Excel, Assist in coordinating subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and inspections Monitor work progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues Maintain organized documentation including daily reports, logs, and photos Conduct regular site walks to ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met Ensure jobsite cleanliness, organization, and efficiency at all times Communicate daily with the Superintendent, project managers, and subcontractors
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of construction-related experience required (multifamily experience preferred) Basic understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices Basic computer skills ( Excel, construction management software a plus) Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Strong communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation to and from job sites Strong work ethic, dependability, and proactive attitude Ability to travel between jobsites from time to time
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk and stand on construction sites for extended periods Ability to lift and carry materials as needed Comfortable working in various weather conditions

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
