Construction Coordinator

Looking for a construction coordinator for a growing telecommunications construction company in the Statesville, NC area. Candidate should have experience in coax and fiber construction. Preferred five years in the telecommunications industry

• Self motivated, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Understanding of coax and fiber plant and construction procedures and materials
• Candidate should be well-organized, proactive, resourceful, flexible, able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers, meet deadlines
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and word processing programs
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
• Flexibility in working overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Tracking all jobs and keeping the customer informed about project status and issues that may affect deadlines
• Review and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Facilitate communication between different teams involved in the construction process
• Assist in obtaining and tracking permits and locate tickets
• Creating and maintaining project files, and associated support documentation
• Other duties as assigned
