Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly experienced Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion in a Developer/Builder capacity. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success through meticulous planning, effective communication, and expert management of subcontractors and vendors. This position offers a dynamic environment where your expertise in construction management and project coordination will make a tangible impact on high-profile commercial developments. This role will spend the next number of years dedicated to a large development with multiple phases. Following these phases, there will be more work throughout the Triad and within the United States (if preferred). Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to coordinate all project phases efficiently. Oversee on-site project execution as you lead a team of field and office staff. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and legal requirements. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless communication and resolve issues proactively. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, review blueprints and schematics, and ensure construction site experience aligns with project plans. Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and other construction management software for document control, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation. Coordinate project schedules with subcontractors and vendors to meet critical deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality. Lead project meetings to track progress, address challenges promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed of developments. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and contractual obligations through diligent oversight. Qualifications Proven experience managing $50M+ commercial construction projects with a focus on project management and construction site leadership. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction drawings. Demonstrated ability in project coordination across multiple teams; excellent time management skills essential for meeting deadlines. Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and other digital tools for document control. Solid understanding of construction safety standards and site experience to enforce safe work practices effectively. Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
