Electrical Superintendent Location:
North Dakota Project Type:
Hyperscale Data Center (Confidential Client) Position Overview A leading electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations on a large-scale hyperscale data center project in North Dakota. This role is responsible for directing all on-site electrical construction activities, leading field crews, maintaining schedule and quality standards, and ensuring strict compliance with safety requirements. The ideal candidate has strong experience in mission-critical environments and thrives in fast-paced, schedule-driven projects. Key Responsibilities Manage all on-site electrical construction activities for a hyperscale data center project Supervise and coordinate electrical foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractors Develop and execute daily and weekly work plans to meet project milestones Interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and applicable electrical codes Coordinate closely with project management, general contractor, and other trade superintendents Enforce site safety policies, conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), and lead toolbox talks Monitor workmanship and quality control to ensure installations meet project and owner standards Track manpower, productivity, material deliveries, and equipment requirements Identify and resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and design discrepancies Support testing, commissioning, and turnover of mission-critical electrical systems Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and field documentation Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction Prior experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Lead Electrical Foreman Experience on hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects strongly preferred Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, grounding, raceway, and low-voltage systems Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and specifications Proven leadership and crew management experience Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and site safety requirements Willingness to work onsite in North Dakota for the duration of the project Preferred Qualifications Experience working on fast-track, large-scale construction projects Familiarity with commissioning processes and owner turnover requirements Electrical license or relevant certifications (state-specific or reciprocal preferred) Strong communication skills across the field, management, and client teams Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Per diem and travel support (project dependent) Opportunity to work on high-profile hyperscale data center infrastructure Potential for long-term project and career growth #sfo26 Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bismarck, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
