Construction Field Coordinator (Hands On)

We're hiring a skilled construction professional who's ready to grow into a Field Leader / Working Superintendent role while staying hands-on. This position supports SABER task orders at Minot AFB, with a mix of scopes including windows, fencing, flooring, drywall, and general construction. You'll play a key role in keeping projects moving—whether that means working with tools or leading crews on-site. What You'll Do Perform hands-on work across multiple trades (windows, doors, fencing, drywall, flooring, etc.) Read and interpret plans, specs, and construction drawings Help coordinate daily jobsite activities and keep work on schedule Work alongside and help manage traveling and local crews Support safety, quality control, and overall project execution Step into a leadership role on smaller projects as needed Assist with scoping or estimating work as workload allows What We're Looking For 5+ years of construction experience (multi-trade preferred) Strong hands-on skills across general construction scopes Experience leading crews or running small jobs is a plus Ability to read plans and adapt to changing field conditions Self-starter with problem-solving mindset Willingness to work hands-on and lead when needed OSHA 10 or 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain) Project Location & Work Type This role is primarily based at: Minot AFB, ND Work consists of SABER task orders with varying scopes and schedules. Some projects may involve coordinating traveling crews and working with local or temporary labor.
