Job Description

Carhart Lumber is Growing — We're Hiring a Drafter! As we continue to expand our services, Carhart Lumber in Norfolk is looking for an additional Drafter to join our team! If you have a passion for residential design, enjoy turning ideas into detailed plans, and want to work alongside experienced building professionals, you are what we are looking for. This is an on-site position. Drafter must work from our Norfolk, Nebraska location.
Responsibilities Include:
Creating residential building plans and custom home designs Developing detailed construction drawings Working directly with homeowners, contractors, and sales staff Assisting with project design, layout, and revisions Utilizing SoftPlan software to produce accurate building plans
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with residential drafting and design Knowledge of residential construction practices and building materials Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent communication and customer service skills Again...
