Position:
We are looking for a Construction Field Superintendent to lead the on-site construction team and oversee all work and activities that are related to multifamily residential construction projects in the field. The role is critical to the execution of construction, and works closely with the project management and ownership team to oversee all field-based scopes of an assigned project are executed flawlessly; and assists in pre-construction to post-construction to meet the goals set by the project schedule, within budget, and quality, while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and an orderly site. This position includes projects located in Eastern and Central Nebraska, and may require travel between project sites.Company Overview:

In the past three years, the Company has positioned itself for substantial growth, and has well over $100mm active projects in the current development pipeline.Specific Roles/Tasks:
May be included in the project bidding and trade partner award progress Studies contracts, job specifications and floor plans to ensure timely start and finish, safety, quality of work and subcontractor performance for each phase of construction. Review draft trade partner agreements for scope of work with project management team prior to execution Ability to understand the scope of work, estimate the time involved, and take initiative with fundamental scheduling changes to minimize cost and time. Regularly interact with and maintain good working relationships with owner, project manager, trade partners (subcontractors and suppliers), architects, consultants and other employees Ability to supervise and direct all trade partners to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, per plans and specifications Coordinate weekly subcontractor meetings to identify conflicts in the process that may affect progress and communicate with project management team for resolution Maintain a safe work site, encouraging safe work practices and conducting weekly safety meetings for employees and trade partners. Regularly report to project manager or project management team with daily updates and communication of any RFIs and/or change orders in the field; Review and Approve Trade Partner Pay Applications regarding work completed on site each month Monitor and ensure project quality. Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions. Complete punch list identification and completion. Utilize management software and techniques for efficiency and project success.Qualifications:
Requires knowledge of construction management methods generally gained through an equivalent college level degree and/or with 6-10 years' experience in construction projects. Diverse background and work experience in Residential, Commercial and Multi-Family is preferred. Experience and competency in using construction field management software and scheduling software is desired as well as being able to effectively use most Microsoft Office and other common products to maximize productivity and communication in the most efficient ways possible.Location:
Omaha Metro, NE, eastern Nebraska, central Nebraska and surrounding areas as needed.Benefits:
