Job Description

Midland Area Agency on Aging is part of a nationwide network of State and local programs that help older people to plan and care for their life long needs. Our goal is to keep seniors living independently in their own homes. We provide social services and nutrition services for elders, and support for caregivers.
Summary :
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Nuckolls County Senior Services/Nuckolls County Senior Center in Superior, Nebraska. The Site Supervisor reports directly to Midland Area Agency on Aging. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Nutrition/OAA Duties:
Understanding of Older Americans Act regulations and procedures. Oversee Congregate and Home Delivered programs Nutrition program procedures and policies Plan, organize and coordinate community based programming (toe nail clinics, exercise classes) for the senior citizen population. Maintain effective working relationship with staff, senior center board, and the general public. Coordinate and maintain related records and statistics of all nutrition/OAA activities and programs. Develop, coordinate and supervise volunteers to assist with programming and activities. Prepare monthly reports for all services to Midland Area Agency on Aging in a timely manner. Act as an advocate for senior citizens by providing information, referrals, resources and assistance on all benefits and services available to them in the community. Essential Education, Certifications, and Licenses High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must have a valid Nebraska Driver's License and pass a background check. Subject to a pre-employment and a random drug/alcohol testing schedule conducted by a third party. Essential Attendance and Availability Requirements Typical work hours are 8am
  • 2pm Monday through Friday.
