Seeking a person for part time (7 am to 12pm Monday through Friday) to help manage several fence installation crews.
YOU MUST HAVE A VALID
DRIVER's
LICENSE AND BE ABLE TO GET BACK AND FORTH TO WORK ON YOUR OWN.
Company vehicle and cell phone will be provided during work hours.
Job description:
Take calls from several crew foreman/ subcontractors from jobsites with problems or questions on the job such as:
  • Materials are damaged or missing.
  • Materials are incorrect, could be ordered wrong or manufacturer made wrong.
  • Materials aren't delivered to the site.
  • Customer changed layout on site.
  • Measurements are incorrect.
  • Etc….
You will then immediately work on solving those problems so that the installation can be completed the same day if possible. You will need to have excellent communication skills and communicate with the suppliers, foreman, office staff, customers, and the owner via phone. We install up to 8 fence jobs per day, 1500 installation per year, so some days will be more chaotic than others. You will also often visit work sites prior to installation to double check measurements, site conditions, customer concerns, etc… to try and mitigate problems ahead of time. Prior construction background a plus but will consider someone with basic knowledge of a measuring tape and common sense who is willing to learn and be persuasive with suppliers to obtain missing or damaged material necessary to complete jobs in a timely fashion. Will sometimes need to lift material into a pickup to deliver to job sites. Most items are 50 lbs or less. $20 per hour to start with room to grow.
