Full Job Description Position Overview:
Dobco is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee public works projects throughout New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing municipal, state, or federally funded projects and a proven ability to deliver complex work on time and within budget. This role requires leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage subcontractors, clients, and internal teams in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of public works construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and government agencies Ensure compliance with public bidding requirements, prevailing wage laws, and government regulations Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders Manage change orders, RFI processes, and submittals Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards Monitor project financials including forecasting and reporting
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing public works or commercial construction projects Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budget and schedule Strong communication, leadership, and problem solving skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
