Construction Manager

Construction Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to oversee concrete projects on-site. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage schedules, collaborate with project managers to ensure timely material procurement, and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities Manage concrete and masonry projects from inception to completion. Oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities. Develop and maintain project schedules. Collaborate with project managers to order materials in a timely manner. Conduct toolbox talks and prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSA). Calculate man-hours and manage up to 35 personnel. Prepare and manage two-week lookaheads. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience managing concrete or masonry projects. Proficiency in concrete, brick, and block construction. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in commercial construction projects. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven management experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bilingual language skills are preferred. Work Environment The role requires a 5-day work week on-site at a project located in Bergen County. The position offers room for upward mobility and growth within a reputable concrete and masonry firm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kearny, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
