We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead onsite execution across construction and warehousing projects, with an emphasis on quality, safety and regulatory compliance. The Superintendent will coordinate trades and subcontractors, manage daily operations and schedules, and ensure that work meets project specifications for sectors including pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, healthcare and commercial facilities. This role requires handson leadership, strong communication with project stakeholders, and familiarity with GMP and other regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage daytoday field operations, ensuring projects progress on schedule, within budget and to required quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, site labor and thirdparty vendors; schedule work and resolve field issues to minimize delays.
Enforce safety programs and regulatory compliance (OSHA, site specific requirements); lead toolbox talks, inspections and incident investigations.
Maintain and verify site documentation including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, permits, change orders and inspection records.
Implement and maintain GMP and quality control practices where applicable; work closely with QA/validation teams on pharmaceutical and controlled environment projects.
Coordinate logistics for material delivery, storage and handling; support warehouse layout, racking and inventory considerations when projects involve warehousing operations.
Conduct regular site inspections, prepare punch lists, and drive corrective actions through to completion.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients and commissioning teams to communicate progress, forecast issues and support turnover/closeout activities.
Train, mentor and develop site personnel; promote continuous improvement and efficient site work processes.
Manage cost control on site activities, review subcontractor invoices and support resolution of claims or change order negotiations.
Qualifications
Proven experience working as a Superintendent on construction projects; experience across commercial, industrial manufacturing, pharmaceutical or healthcare projects highly preferred.
Demonstrable knowledge of GMP requirements and experience supporting pharmaceutical or controlledenvironment construction and commissioning.
Experience with warehousing operations, material handling systems, and related construction or fitout work is a strong plus.
Strong understanding of construction means and methods, ability to read plans and specifications, and experience managing schedules and budgets.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills with a handson approach to problem solving.
Working knowledge of safety regulations and experience leading safety programs; OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred.
Experience managing subcontractors, site documentation, change orders and closeout processes.
Relevant certifications (e.g., construction management, supervisory safety, commissioning, PMP) or trade background are advantageous.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites; willingness to work on site for extended periods and in varied environmental conditions. Benefits PTO
