Job Description

Construction Superintendent, Electrical Location:
Reno, NV 3-6 month Contract to
Hire Pay Range:
$70-$75 per hour
Summary:
Construction Superintendent focusing on Electrical for battery energy site needed as backup for data centers. Supervise all electrical construction scopes from installation through production including scheduling of trade contractors, utility, structure, and vendor tool installations, resolving construction issues, performing daily inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications while tracking project schedule and budget.
Responsibilities:
Supervises all field work on the project site working with engineering, estimating, and workforce to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications. Directly responsible for supervising field scopes and supervises coordination of construction field scopes to safely align with the project schedule. Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews and updates as needed. Reviews and understands the project specifications for job set up activities. Manages construction of complex piping scopes within a treatment/process plant atmosphere. Forecasts the work schedule to identify possible issues and provides technical or scheduling recommendations to mitigate production issues. Provides technical input to identify and resolve project risks Coordinates with internal equipment team and external vendors to ensure site is equipped with equipment and material quantities needed to complete production within assigned budget and schedule. Coordinates with internal and external departments to ensure all mandated inspections are completed within requested timeframes. Supervises sub-contractor production and workforce and recommends work schedule or work method adjustments, as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of construction superintendent experience. Experience providing oversite electrical scope of construction project 2+ years experience of managing contractors as a superintendent OSHA 30hr certification required Experience in 3D model reviews and ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract specific plans and specifications. Familiarity with drawings. Navisworks, clash reviews preferred. Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenance requirements. Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proven ability to enforce project safety programs.
