$140K-150K + Benefits We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical contractor based in Queens that is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial HVAC projects throughout New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing commercial mechanical construction projects, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple commercial HVAC/mechanical projects across the 5 boroughs
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and manpower
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and field teams
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Support field operations and resolve project-related issues efficiently

Requirements:

• 8+ years of HVAC/mechanical project management experience
• Strong commercial HVAC construction background required
• Experience managing projects within NYC preferred
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
