Belmont Housing offers a great work/life balance and an excellent benefit package, and is looking to fill the following position: Job Overview As a Housing Construction Specialist, you will play a vital role in administering the rehabilitation component of the organization's housing rehabilitation programs in matters relating to construction, rehabilitation, and interaction with third-party inspectors (e.g., DHCR, HUD). This energetic position involves overseeing construction processes, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, sustainable homes. Your expertise will help create safe, accessible, and vibrant living environments for residents in need. Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years' experience, or an associate's degree plus 4 yrs experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in housing construction, rehabilitation, or related fields. Basic knowledge of all phases of housing residential building systems (structural, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and the ability to supervise contractors.
