Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here A growing, family-owned construction contractor specializing in complex commercial and high-rise residential exterior projects throughout the NYC metro area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to gain hands-on exposure to all phases of project management while working directly alongside experienced leadership in a collaborative, non-corporate environment. Responsibilities Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation Support change order tracking and project coordination Maintain workflows within Procore and related systems Review construction drawings and specifications Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and preconstruction activities Coordinate communication between field teams, vendors, and clients Participate in site visits, meetings, and project walkthroughs Help drive operational efficiency across active projects Qualifications Experience working for a commercial GC or specialty subcontractor Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specifications Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience Procore or similar project management software Roofing, waterproofing, or building envelope projects Estimating or preconstruction exposure Change order management platforms such as ClearStory Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary ($80K-$120K DOE) Performance bonuses and profit-sharing opportunities 401(k) with company match Health insurance 100% employer paid Strong long-term growth potential High visibility role with direct mentorship from leadership
