On-the-job training Safe work environment Lively atmosphere Growth opportunities Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman / Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing residential and commercial construction projects while working hands-on alongside the crew. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and the ability to manage jobsite operations efficiently and professionally. Candidates must be punctual, trustworthy while working in customers' homes, highly organized, and committed to maintaining the company's standard of excellence. The Foreman will be expected to lead by example, communicate effectively with both crew members and management, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. Duties Supervise and lead crews on residential and commercial construction projects Coordinate daily jobsite activities and delegate tasks to team members Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality expectations Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications Perform and oversee carpentry, framing, finish work, remodeling, and other trade-related tasks Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Communicate with homeowners, subcontractors, and management professionally Ensure jobsites remain clean, organized, and safe at all times Train and mentor crew members as needed Monitor materials, equipment, and jobsite productivity Adhere to all company safety guidelines and practices Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of construction experience preferred Previous leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage a crew efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Physical stamina and ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from jobsites each day Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance HSA Life insurance Paid sick leave Retirement plan Vision insurance If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to our team's success, we encourage you to apply for this position.
