Job Description

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Lalezarian Properties, an established real estate development and investment company based out of Lake Success, New York, with multifamily, office and retail properties in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Long Island, is seeking a full-time Project Manager for projects based out of the New York Metro area. The Project Manager will report directly to the Construction Superintendent and Owners. This position WILL be based out of Mineola, NY in Nassau county . The Construction Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-rise construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing complex, multi-story developments and can deliver quality work on time and within budget. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be extremely organized and have excellent time management, team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day project operations, including scheduling, budgeting, coordination of all trades, subcontractors and various suppliers .
  • Oversee high-rise construction projects from design development through final completion
  • Assist with estimation, bidding and buyout process with the PM team and estimators
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and local officials for approvals and inspections which includes RFI's, submittals, permits, etc...
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and execution
  • Effectively communicate project status and progress with team and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project milestones and progress
  • Lead and mentor site teams, foremen, and junior project managers
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of construction management experience, with at least 3 years specifically managing high-rise projects (10+ stories) Strong knowledge of New York construction codes, zoning, and permitting processes Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills OSHA 30 certification required; PMP or CCM certification is a plus
