5-10 Years Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all on-site operations for a ground-up development project in Mount Kisco, NY, including subsequent interior fit-outs. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day field activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage subcontractors and field teams effectively. Key Responsibilities Oversee all phases of ground-up construction through project closeout, including interior build-outs Manage daily on-site operations, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors and vendors Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and local building codes Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving delays Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and enforce safety standards Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and coordinate workflow sequencing Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and ownership Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation of site activities Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies Review and coordinate inspections, permits, and approvals with local authorities Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and managing field-related expenses Oversee punch list completion and project closeout process Qualifications 5-10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably on ground-up commercial or mixed-use projects Strong experience managing interior fit-outs and finishing phases Thorough knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar) OSHA 30 certification required Preferred Qualifications Experience with projects in Westchester County or similar jurisdictions Familiarity with local subcontractor base and permitting processes Background in commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily on-site in Mount Kisco, NY Ability to walk the job site frequently, including climbing stairs and ladders Exposure to varying weather conditions typical of active construction sites Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Bonus potential based on project performance Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays

Pay:

$150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
