Before and Afterschool Site Supervisor Oceanside, NY From $22 an hour - Part-time From $22 an hour - Part-time Job description The Friedberg JCC is looking for qualified individuals to join our amazing team as a site supervisor for before and after school programs. A site supervisor will be responsible to provide supervision, support, and leadership to program staff to ensure program goals are being met. The site supervisor will work closely with the program director to create a diverse enrichment-based program that includes art, SEL, STEM, and sports. Duties include but are not limited to: Adhere to NYS mandated reporter policies regarding child abuse and neglect; including compliance to all state rules and reporting requirements Lead all Before and After School counselors in establishing and maintaining a peaceful and collaborative atmosphere that is consistent with JCC values Provide a program curriculum appropriate for ages of 4-11 the children and their developmental levels and interests, including children with developmental delays or disabilities. Establish and maintain positive, professional, and effective communication and supportive ties with children, staff, parents, and third party consultants to meet the needs of children and their families, thereby establishing a partnership between school and home. Ensure a healthy, safe environment, with well-maintained facilities, equipment, and supplies. Attend bi weekly/monthly meetings and trainings Maintain accurate daily and monthly attendance records for each child Oversee payroll is successfully submitted to Program Director for your staff Qualifications Bachelors/Associate degree in a CHILD related field (Required) 2+ years working in a supervisor position (Required) 2+ years working in a professional child setting(Required) Authorized to work in US (Required) CPR and First Aid (preferred)
