Mandatory Licenses & Certifications:

Valid OSHA 30 safety certification. The Opportunity You will serve as the primary field leader, overseeing daily operations for large-scale heavy civil commercial projects for a stable, long-standing industry leader. This role grants you the authority to direct site activities and coordinate complex logistics while ensuring every milestone meets our high standards of quality. You will be the bridge between project management and field execution, driving the success of our most critical infrastructure builds. How You Will Make an Impact Directed daily construction activities and field operations to ensure project milestones were achieved on schedule. Maintained a precise 3-week look-ahead schedule to anticipate logistical needs and prevent site delays. Enforced strict company safety policies and OSHA regulations to eliminate on-site hazards and ensure crew well-being. Inspected ongoing work for absolute compliance with blueprints, technical specifications, and local building codes. Coordinated subcontractor workflows and equipment deliveries to optimize site efficiency and material usage. Resolved real-time design conflicts and logistical obstacles to maintain project momentum and budget integrity. Produced accurate daily job logs and progress reports to provide full transparency to stakeholders and management. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience specifically within commercial or industrial construction. Proven expertise in heavy civil construction means, methods, and heavy equipment operation. Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings, specs, site plans, and blueprints. Valid Driver's License and the ability to work onsite in Middletown, NY. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse crews and subcontractors. Experience and understanding of NY State DOT specifications and regulations. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Associates Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced proficiency in Procore, scheduling software, and MS Office Suite. Extensive experience in managing site-specific civil landscaping and heavy earthwork.
