Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Sitework Superintendent to oversee excavation, site development, concrete, piping, and municipal projects in the Capital Region. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Superintendent Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily site operations on excavation, sitework, concrete, and utility projects. Supervise crews and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and safety standards are met. Coordinate scheduling, materials, equipment, and logistics to keep projects on track. Read and interpret plans, specifications, and blueprints. Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients. Maintain accurate project documentation and daily reports. Enforce company policies, OSHA regulations, and site safety procedures.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in sitework, excavation, or civil construction. Proven leadership experience as a Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or Superintendent. Strong knowledge of concrete, piping, utilities, and municipal infrastructure projects. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and manage field operations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation:
