  • Referral bonus About the Role New Avenues to Independence provides services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across Northeast Ohio.
We are hiring a Program Developer to lead a team of Program Specialists supporting individuals across Ashtabula and Lake Counties, ensuring the individuals we support receive consistent, high-quality care. This is a supervisory role for someone who is organized, dependable, and genuinely committed to helping people with IDD live full, self-directed lives. This role requires regular travel across both counties. What You'll Do Provide direct support to individuals served by the agency Supervise and develop a team of Program Specialists, ensuring agency policies and procedures are followed Manage on-call responsibilities, including maintaining appropriate staffing levels, covering direct shifts as needed, and keeping timely communication with your team Support individuals in achieving personal goals and building independence
Requirements:
18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred Minimum two years of experience working with individuals with IDD Minimum two year of supervisory experience Valid Ohio driver's license with less than 5 points on driving record Valid auto insurance Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities A genuine desire to support people in their growth and success
