We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. Position Summary The Project Manager is a key leader responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This role requires strong project management expertise, in-depth knowledge of construction processes, and excellent communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Projects typically range from $100,000 to $5,000,000 and are located throughout the United States. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Initiation Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders to define project goals, scopes, and requirements Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and timelines Create comprehensive project plans, including staffing, resource allocation, and procurement strategies Project Execution & Oversight Oversee all phases of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and subcontractor coordination Lead and manage internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track Budget & Cost Management Establish and manage project budgets, track costs, and control expenses Review, negotiate, and approve change orders Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety Quality Assurance Implement and enforce quality control standards across all project phases Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards Resolve quality issues promptly and effectively Communication & Client Management Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams Provide regular status updates, reports, and forecasts Lead project meetings and ensure alignment among all parties Risk Management Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans Proactively address challenges that could impact schedule, cost, safety, or quality Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, change orders, and contractual documentation Review and approve invoices and payments to subcontractors and suppliers Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management Safety & Compliance Promote and uphold a strong safety culture on all job sites Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and all applicable regulations Conduct safety meetings and training sessions as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience, preferably in commercial construction Strong leadership and supervisory skills Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction documentation Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Excellent communication and organizational skills Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to travel within the United States approximately 25% of the time Company-provided laptop and cell phone; availability to manage work across locations and schedules Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and education Paid travel expenses Full benefits package Retirement plan Paid time off accrued based on length of employment This job description is not intended to be a complete list of duties, responsibilities, or activities.
