Job Description

job summary: An Assistant Construction Superintendent is needed for a leading construction organization outside of the Huntington, WV area. The Assistant Construction Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope. In this role, you will coordinate on-site workforces, manage project logistics, and maintain workflow efficiency to support overall project goals. You will also provide leadership and mentorship to field teams while actively managing project risks. To qualify, candidates must possess 7+ years of equivalent work experience for large commercial construction projects. You should demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and outstanding communication skills to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Preferred candidates will have a background in managing complex commercial construction projects and familiarity with industry safety, quality, and scheduling standards. This is a direct-hire role and relocation is available for qualified candidates.
