Lead Projects Before They Break Ground:

We are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead the planning, strategy, and execution of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects . This role acts as a project leader during the preconstruction phase , guiding projects from early pursuit (Design-Build, CMAR, Progressive Design-Build) through design development, estimating, procurement strategy, and final handoff to construction teams. You'll play a critical role in shaping projects before they are built - driving efficiency, reducing risk, and ensuring successful execution from day one. 🏗️

What You'll Be Doing:

Preconstruction Leadership:

Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, milestones, and deliverables Lead early-phase strategy from project pursuit through contract execution Ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to construction 🤝

Collaboration & Coordination:

Act as the primary liaison between owner, design teams, internal operations, and trade partners Facilitate collaboration to improve constructability, cost efficiency, and scheduling Align stakeholders around project goals and execution strategy 💡

Risk, Estimating & Strategy:

Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies Oversee detailed estimating and procurement planning Support value engineering and pricing strategies 📊

Client & Proposal Engagement:

Lead client interactions during preconstruction Support proposal development, presentations, and interviews Contribute to successful project pursuit and award 🎯

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business , or related field Strong understanding of water/wastewater systems and infrastructure Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability 🏆 Preferred (Not Required): Professional Engineer (PE) License DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America) Certification Experience with Design-Build, CMAR, or Progressive Design-Build delivery methods Prior design or engineering experience 📈

Experience Level:

7+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment plant projects Background in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within infrastructure projects 🌟
