Established Northeast Ohio General Contractor Position Overview A well-established general contractor with a strong presence across Northeast Ohio is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on a multifamily project in Granville, Ohio. This firm has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and residential developments and is expanding its footprint throughout Ohio. The Superintendent will be the on-site leader responsible for driving schedule, safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination from groundbreaking through project completion. Key Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities for a ground-up multifamily project Manage daily operations including subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff Maintain and enforce project schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met Lead site safety efforts and ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and company policies Coordinate inspections, permits, and municipal requirements specific to the Cincinnati area Conduct regular subcontractor meetings and ensure clear communication across all trades Monitor quality control and ensure work is performed to plans and specifications Collaborate closely with Project Managers on budget tracking, change orders, and progress reporting Maintain detailed daily reports, logs, and site documentation Proactively identify and resolve field issues to keep the project on track Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects (garden-style, podium, or wrap preferred) Strong understanding of sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Experience with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) Solid knowledge of safety regulations and best practices Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Willingness to work in Cincinnati full-time for the duration of the project What Sets This Opportunity Apart Backed by a reputable Northeast Ohio GC with a strong pipeline of work Opportunity to play a key role in the company's expansion into the Cincinnati market Stable leadership team and consistent project backlog Potential for continued work in the region or return to Northeast Ohio projects Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) Performance-based bonus structure Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays #IND1
