Overview:
BRHFH is a multi-county affiliate which undertakes construction projects including new, rehab, and home preservation. As such, a position is needed that will facilitate and manage construction projects completed within timelines, standards, and guidelines set in collaboration with leadership.

Program Director Job Summary :
The Construction Manager facilitates all construction projects planning through completion while following the mission of Habitat for Humanity in accordance with the direction, policies, and objectives set by the affiliate Board, Program Director, and CEO.
Time Requirements:
Full time hourly position (40 hours per week). Must be available for weekend hours as needed. Paid vacation, sick leave, personals days, holidays, IRA contribution. (90 day probationary period)
Qualifications:
Experience in construction and construction management which can be applied in affordable, sustainable residential housing. Ability to lead and motivate skilled and unskilled volunteers, BRHFH partner families, trainees, and sub-contractors on the jobsite. Proficiency in hands-on construction practices and willingness to get hands dirty to move projects forward when necessary. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred. Understanding of Ohio residential building codes and ability to meet code, grant, and energy star requirements. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. Valid Ohio Driver's License and at least 5 years clean driving record.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Construction management and supervision in new construction, home preservation, and rehabilitation a. Maintain schedules and budgets for each construction project with administrative support to complete projects to BRHFH standards b. Obtain competitive bids, donated materials and professional donated labor c. Supervise subcontractors, volunteers, partner family volunteers, and other labor on the job sites d. Supervise and facilitate training for Workforce Development Trainees who are learning on the job Implement safety programs for construction Facilitate the maintenance of construction policies and materials for internal use, approve any construction related educational and/or promotional materials to be distributed to volunteers, partner families, sub-contractors, or the general public with administrative support Facilitate Construction Committees and Volunteer development in coordination with other staff Facilitate homeowner training for new partner families in coordination with other staff Supervise maintenance of affiliate owned property including lots under construction and any future properties to be obtained by the affiliate. Assist with maintenance/projects in ReStore. Supervise maintenance and inventories of all tools and vehicles used in construction Supervise building materials on all job sites and appropriately recycle to the BRHFH Marion ReStore Provide monthly construction update reports to submit to CEO, Program Director, and Board Enthusiastically embrace the mission of Habitat for Humanity through training others to succeed in the construction trade Other duties as assigned
