Respite Coordinator Job Overview :
Are you a skilled and compassionate leader looking to explore a new leadership opportunity with a mission driven and established organization? Anne Grady Services is seeking a Respite Manager to oversee the delivery of respite services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining a high standard of care. The Respite Manager will coordinate schedules, supervise staff, and engage with families and community members.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure quality service delivery in line with Individual Service Plans (ISPs). Supervise, evaluate, and manage the performance of respite staff. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Participate in Team, ISP, and IEP meetings. Maintain a well-kept environment and ensure health services are provided. Communicate effectively with staff, families, and the community. Coordinate respite schedules, verify funding, and maintain accurate documentation. Address any issues related to abuse, neglect, or service quality.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field. Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. 1 year of supervisory experience. Knowledge of Medicaid, licensure regulations, and service plans. CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration Certification required. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work flexible hours.
