Job Description
Job Summary We're looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations and keep our projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our construction projects—coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring high-quality results. If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in building strong teams, we'd love to hear from you. Main Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and oversee daily construction activities across grading, paving, concrete, and sitework Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet project goals Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents Monitor productivity and adjust workflows to maximize efficiency and control costs Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards Partner with Project Managers to execute project plans and timelines Track and report daily progress, including manpower, equipment, and production Maintain accurate field documentation, reports, and as-built data Communicate professionally with clients, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors Lead, mentor, and support foremen and field teams Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement Skills Strong leadership and team-building abilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Solid problem-solving skills with attention to detail Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence Proficiency in reading construction plans and specifications Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and materials Physical / Work Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent standing, walking, and active movement on job sites Travel required throughout the Mid‑West Central Region Valid driver's license required
