Job Description Next Level Technician - Construction Quality Manager | Columbus, OH Join Next Level Technician as a Construction Quality Manager in Columbus, OH! Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple construction projects Perform and oversee quality control inspections, audits, and reporting Monitor project quality issues and ensure timely resolution and corrective actions Evaluate construction processes, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and codes Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce defects Oversee site inspections, testing procedures, and audit processes Maintain accurate documentation including test results, inspections, and non-conformance reports Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders and leadership Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, ACI, OSHA, and local codes) Lead, train, and mentor quality control teams across project sites Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve quality concerns Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Support training of field teams on quality standards and documentation processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or related field (or 7+ years equivalent experience) 5-7+ years of construction quality management experience Experience with large-scale construction projects required Data center or telecommunications experience preferred Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality processes Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, ACI, OSHA, etc.) Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with quality management systems and reporting tools
Certifications:
OSHA 30 (Required) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Required) Certified Construction Quality Manager (CQM) (Preferred) Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Preferred) ACI or ASTM certifications (Preferred) Why Work with Next Level Technician in Columbus, OH?
