Base Operations Manager

• RESPONSIBILITIES

• + Lead all on‑site contractor personnel and manage readiness, training, schedules, conflict resolution, and day‑to‑day team oversight.

+ Coordinate all shared Tier 2 operational activities with the Communications Squadron and the Communications Focal Point and escalate Tier 3 matters to the Operations Engineering Lead. + Prepare and deliver upgrade and proficiency training for Communications Squadron personnel for both legacy and modernized network environments. + Tailor training programs provided by the PMO Operations Manager to meet base‑specific operational, facility, and mission needs. + Coordinate with Civil Engineering, Safety, Environmental offices, and Security Forces for access, compliance, and safety requirements. + Manage base‑level operational schedules including maintenance windows, cutovers, change execution, and restoration activities. + Ensure operational execution conforms with engineering baselines, approved procedures, and mission constraints. + Maintain privileged access rosters and ensure compliance with all base access and authorization controls. + Validate AMF and IUID asset records and provide accurate inputs for SLA and performance reporting. + Provide daily operational updates to the PMO Operations Manager and coordinate with the Infrastructure Deployment Manager to deconflict modernization and operational activities. + Enforce safety, OPSEC, and base access requirements for all on‑site personnel. + Identify and escalate operational risks early and coordinate mitigation actions with PMO and Communications Squadron leadership.

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• + Seven (7) years experience leading on‑site technical teams and field personnel + Seven (7) years experience IT Service Management + Incident response/Incident Management Expertise + DoD 8140 IAT II baseline certification such as Security Plus CE. + Ability to manage a twenty‑four hour on‑call rotation. + Must have an active Secret clearance
