Traveling Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent with 10-15 years of construction superintending experience. The individual will oversee on-site construction activities across various project locations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and meets quality standards. This role involves extensive travel and requires strong leadership to coordinate diverse teams while maintaining consistent project execution across regions. Projects typically last 3-6 months or longer and are primarily located along the eastern United States, focusing on commercial or industrial constructions. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and meet quality standards. Coordinate and lead diverse teams across multiple project locations. Travel extensively between project sites, primarily on the eastern side of the United States. Supervise commercial or industrial projects, ideally involving warehouse constructions between 50k - 100k sqft. Manage subcontractors and coordinate scheduling. Essential Skills 10-15 years of construction experience. Proven leadership and independent project supervision skills. Ability to coordinate scheduling and manage diverse teams. Experience with construction supervision and superintendent roles. Commercial or light industrial project experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Procore software. Experience managing commercial construction projects. Work Environment The role is entirely on-site, with the superintendent running each project independently. The position involves traveling to different job sites upon completion of each project. Benefits include a competitive per diem for food and lodging, either self-booked or arranged, a company Ford F-150 or a $750 monthly car allowance with a fuel card, and a phone allowance with three plan options. The work environment is dynamic, with projects primarily located on the eastern United States. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Streetsboro, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
