Position Summary We are seeking dynamic and experienced Foremen and / or Construction Superintendents to lead and oversee light commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Construction Superintendent, you will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and construction specifications. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations on projects from $50,000 to $3,000,000, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel to maintain productivity and safety standards. Implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections. Read and interpret plans, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of project. Manage project schedules and adjusting timelines as needed. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets design standards, schematics, and client expectations. Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, safety incidents, and progress reports. Collaborate with project managers on contract administration, including reviewing contracts and managing scope changes. Utilize construction site experience to troubleshoot issues promptly and implement effective solutions. Skills Proficiency in software such as Word, Excel, Bluebeam, or equivalent tools. Strong knowledge of construction management principles including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Supervising experience on small to medium-scale construction projects with a focus on safety and quality assurance. Ability to read plans, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety management. Experience in ground-up new construction, interior renovations, and tenant finishes Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering collaboration across disciplines. Physical, Ergonomic, and Environmental Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time on construction sites without a break. Must be able to climb ladders, access scaffolding, and tolerate heights. Must be able to tolerate various environmental conditions including but not limited to cold, heat, rain, snow, ice, wind, and others. Must be able to access and tolerate cramped conditions such as attics, basements, and other confined spaces. Must be able to life at minimum 50 pounds and carry for short distances. Salary & Benefits Competitive salary based on regional comparative positions; $65,000 to $85,000 based on experience. Performance-based bonus opportunities.
